Rent to own computer used for work.

I rent to own a computer that I use for work. I still have three monthly payments left. Do I claim the depreciation on this tax return or do I have wait till its paid off?

Are you self-employed or do you receive a W-2? If you get a W-2 you cannot deduct anything for the computer on your federal return.
