How do I change foreign residency test from Physical Presence to Bona Fide

I want to change this in TurboTax Online Deluxe but I can't see where or how in the UI

You will have to delete the Form 2555 (T/S) from your tax file and re-enter it in the Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion interview. This will give you access to the Bona Fide Residence Test.

After deleting the Form 2555 (T/S), log out of the program. When you log back in, use the Delete a Form tool to confirm the Form 2555 (T/S) has been removed from the list of forms in your return.  Then, return to the  Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion interview.

Hi - I tried deleting the 2555 T forms and logging in/out.  However, when I review the actual forms from the Print Center, it is still trying to file with the Physical Presence test instead of the Bona Fide.  Any other suggestions?

To change from Physical Presence to Bona Fide, you would need to revisit the Form 2555 section to edit.  Here are the steps:

In TurboTax online,

• After sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off
• At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in foreign income and Enter 
• Select Jump to foreign income 
• Follow prompts

Unfortunately, that does not work -- it just continues down the Physical Presence path.

Try to delete the Form 2555 from the program then revisit the same section to refresh.

To delete:

• Sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off
• To your left, Select Tax Tools/drop-down menu
• Select Tools
• Under Other helpful links, choose to Delete a form
• Select Delete next to Form 2555 and Continue with My Return to proceed

Then re-enter.

That is what I tried first. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. Just spent 3 hours on the phone with support. Still no luck...

To delete the foreign earned income  in TurboTax, you need to not only delete Form 2555 but also the wage worksheet.
