Using standard deduction, it asked how much $ I had donated this year with a "cash charitable donation" pop up question. Now it says the amount is too large? Why?

Someone can claim me as a dependent, and it didn't ask me for any more information about the organizations I donated to.

That deduction is limited to $300.
