Trouble amending for child tax credit

Is anyone else having trouble amending their 2020 return online?
I am trying to change the status for my child that was born in August 2020. I had mistakenly put her down for the other dependent and received the $500 credit, but was just told that I could qualify for the child tax credit and need to amend. When I get to that part of the amendment it’s asking about my 2019 earned income and asking if it’s higher than 2020 earned income. It’s not letting me get past that part and change that the child lived with me for the full 12 months. Help please!

I am so sorry for the issues you are having!  Here are the steps I would take to attempt to resolve:

1) Clear your cache and cookies.  Then, log out and back into TurboTax.  Try to amend again.

2) If that does not work, try another browser.

3) If you are still having some issues after that, please contact us and we would be happy to take a look at this and resolve it for you.
