This is first year tax return for a married couple. The husband was a dependent on his parent's tax return in 2019 and they received the dependent stimulus payment. He did not. TurboTax determined the couple was eligible for $3,600 ($2,400 1st round, $1,200 second round). She received $1,800. He did not receive anything. I entered what she received and TurboTax calculated an $1,800 credit for them. Is that the correct amount I should have entered for the couple?

The stimulus is based on a 2020 tax return. It is a credit based on the filer's 2020 income and 2020 filing status. So it can be correct for the young man to receive the full amount for 2020 now. (and....unless he was younger than 17 his parents did not receive stimulus money for him)...
You did it right. Just enter what they actually got, which is the 1800 she got. He qualifies to get the other 1800.
