Mortage Interest Missing

When TurboTax 2019 Deluxe does the deductions and credits summary (it shows 2018 and 2019), it does not show mortgage interest for 2019 even though it was entered during the process - why is that?

There are new rules for deducting mortgage interest, so perhaps you didn't answer all of the questions in that section or your answers indicated that your mortgage interest is not deductible.

You can review that in the Home mortgage interest deduction section. Here is how to review that:

1. Use the search box in the upper right corner to search for Mortgage interest.
2. Click on Jump to mortgage interest.
3. Click Edit to the right of the lender's name.
4. Review all of your answers carefully. If something doesn't apply to you, leave it blank, do not enter 0.
5. When you are done, return to the Deductions & Credits summary and to see if that cleared everything up.
