1. What (first world) agony! TurboTax failed to populate from my federal form, state taxes entered under 1099R. Going over my state form repeatedly, I found it had only transferred W-2 state tax. Going over the state form didn't help. I had to find the miss in a work sheet, fill in the amounts there and then proceed. I've never needed to do this before. Btw, TT review said everything was hunky dory before the fix..
2. Don't ever remember being asked about state schedule IN K-1, but I got into an endless loop when the state insisted I populate entries which were empty on my IN K1. Somehow I was let out, but not before losing 10lbs., and a near psychic collapse. The form was just accepted. Let's just see what happens..

In the federal 1099-R section you had to enter the IN info in 2 places ... and the taxes withheld will flow to the state automatically ...
And for the K-1 ... in the IN interview there is a screen for it ... if you had no entries to make you could leave all the data entry screens BLANK ... zeros are not allowed ... I just did this without issue ...
