I meet all the requirements for the child tax credit. But the irs website states that I'm not eligible. Why?

We don't know---we cannot see your information.   But it is too late to get any of those monthly advance CTC payments.   The software is not completely ready for 2021 ---updates will be coming to the 2021 software.  When you prepare your 2021 tax return make sure that you have entered your dependent in My Info and entered their Social Security number.   If you are eligible to receive the child tax credit the software will add it to your 2021 refund.

@shanoncannon, without knowing more, it is difficult to determine why you might not be eligible for the credit.
