Does filing with Turbo Tax affect the cyild tax credit stimulus?

Both of those will be released once the return you filed has been processed including any amended return you may have filed ...  TT had nothing to do with how the IRS is handling these credit payouts.

TurboTax cannot track your 3rd stimulus or tell you when it will arrive.  The IRS is issuing 3rd stimulus checks on its own timetable.

TurboTax has nothing to do with the monthly child tax credit payments.   Those payments are being issued by the IRS.

This is a brand new system thrown together by the IRS after Congress changed tax laws in the middle of the tax season. 

If you do not receive the monthly payments you will be able to get the CTC on your 2021 tax return.
