That may be true, but not always. If your income was more in 2019 than 2020, often you will get a bigger earned income credit, and that will raise your refund. If you have already filed your tax return, you must wait until you get your refund, then you can log into your TurboTax program and use the Amend Your Return option to amend your return to see if you get an additional refund.
