I entered property taxes for primary residence in NJ and 2nd home in FL. When calculating NJ state return Turbotax is adding those property taxes together. Incorrect?

Correct. Total is what you paid for RE tax in year.

For the NJ return, only the property taxes paid to NJ for your primary residence are deductible.

I think there's a bug in Turbotax. That's what I was trying to convey here. The property taxes were correctly combined in the Federal but they also combined them in the NJ State tax return as well with no way to correct it other than filing paper return. Unless someone knows how I can correct it. Ugh.

I'm using the desktop software not the online version, but it will let me change the property tax amount in the NJ return that it carried over from my federal return.

I'm using the online version. Contacted support and they saw the problem. It is incorrectly reporting property tax on the state return. Still waiting for them to help me correct it or fix their software.
