I am entering dependent care costs. When I enter for child 1 the amount is accurate. After I enter for child 2, the amount changes for both and the total is wrong.

When I click Edit the amount displays as the amount I entered, but when I click continue the amount changes.

The credit is determined by the expense and also a percentage of that amount based on your income.

What are the amounts you are entering for each child?

Do you know what percentage you are allowed to claim?

Have you entered your earned income?
