For the first few days I though this forum was being a bit hard on intuit. Now I think it's not hard enough. This is a case of real outright incompetence. A lot of people rely on these refunds and a refund of a few dollars of TT fee isn't going to cut it.
TT doesn't care, they have 40 million users.
Some hope for anyone who just filed today after the last TT update... I just got my Federal e-file acceptance.... That was a quick turnaround for sure...
Time between TT in progress and accepted was 1.5 hours...
Just got my return accepted.
Efiled last night after updates to 8936 and 8911. Got rejection email early this morning. Went into the software (windows/PC) and it let me efile again. Got acceptance email after about 30 minutes.
So looks like issues have been solved, at least for windows/PC software users.
Third time was a charm. Fed & State accepted. Now have to mail Form 8453 and form 8949. Hope I finish before 2020 taxes are due!
Did you get a credit for a Tesla by chance? I just got off the phone with TT and got a refund for my taxes and was going to use h and r block. I submitted mine this morning and they were rejected again.
If mine got rejected earlier should I restart TT although there are no updates and efile again?
Fourth time was a charm for me. Finally.

Yes, that's what I did and was successful.
Would efile again if TT allows you to do that. My Mac version needed the rejections to post prior to me filing again.

Mine was for a Pacific Hybrid, so full $7500. But I would give it another try now that we know they are going through.
Let us know how it goes. I'll try again at home this evening.
Just refilled, for 3rd time. Tesla credit.
will post results.
I manually changed the number to $3750, and Turbotax now calculated a credit of $1875, not $3750. The Tesla was bought before June 2019. Should it be $3750 still? Does the form calculate incorrectly still?
