Back in 2016 I withdrew funds from 401k immediately after Harvey floods to help live, start all over from our very first flood ever. I was 59 1/2 and amended my return to reflect claim on this for our 2016 return. Now 2022 years later we can file because a form 8915A-T 2016 isn’t ready. It’s been lots of many years for a form to be ready. Unacceptable. We got no federal help, handouts. Heck we started all, over on our own. Which is fine, but now we have to wait for a dang form that should be already ready since it was way back in 2016? Is there a way to eliminate this form that is holding us back? So unacceptable and using the Covid is stupid we have vaccines and boosters.

Form 8915-A through F will not be ready until March 31st. They have not yet been approved for filing by the IRS.
Here is TurboTax's schedule for federal form release.
Thanks for reply. It’s just so hard to understand why especially when these for relate back to 2016. And we got no benefit from them. How I wish we could just delete the need of waiting for this form.
When you start your tax return, TurboTax gives you the option to remove extraneous forms from prior years that are no longer relevant.
where do you do this now? I never took a disaster distribution in 2016 or ever yet turbo tax is telling me I can't file til I get this form.
Just delete this form off your return. We did since it’s more than 3 yrs ago. After that return was filed and accepted within minutes.
You can delete Form 8915 @Cherv161 if you never took a disaster distribution.
Thank you so very much!!!
