Please confirm advise when Form 5695 Residential Tax Credit  will be finalized for Tax year 2023 filing.   Thank you

The Form 5695 Residential Energy Credits for tax year 2023 has not yet been finalized.

The Form 5695 is scheduled to be available in TurboTax on 02/07/2024(subject to change).

Qualified energy property is any of the following.
• Certain electric heat pump water heaters; electric heat pumps; central air conditioners; and natural gas, propane, or oil water heaters.

Enter the cost in the box labeled Energy-Efficient Building Property.

Turbo Tax is still not updated on 02/07/2024 for Form 5695. Has anyone had any additional updated on when this might be ready?

The update is still scheduled for today according to the forms availability tool.  This means it would be best to check back tomorrow after updates occur.

This is scheduled to be fixed with the February 7 update. The updates generally happen at night. It should be available February 8.

Then why not SAY February 8th? Did not even SAY that today. Today's update is Ready Soon

Don't you (meaning ALL the contributing experts) ever get tired of trying to support them?

Stop posting nonsense and I'll gladly wait silently for the actual form (c. 2025)

Thank you for finalizing form 5695 Was able to complete my taxes for 2023 today
