Form 5695 Filed in Wrong Year

Hello - Form 5695 was incorrectly filed on our 2021 return. The loan went through in December of 2021. The units were not installed fully and turned on till Feb / March of 2022 due to delays. How would I go about fixing this? Do an amended 2021 return and redo the 5695 on the 2022 return? Thank you in advance for helping!!

Yes, you are going to have to amend the 2021 and resubmit on the 2022 return.
