How do l input a foreign dividend that doesn’t have a 1099-DIV?

Foreign Dividends

To enter a foreign dividend not reflected on a Form 1099-DIV in TurboTax Online:

  1. Select Tax Home in the left pane
  2. On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown on the right side of the Income & Expenses box, then select StartContinue or Pick up where you left off
  3. On the  Your income and expenses screen, select the dropdown to the right of Investments and Savings1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, Crypto Gain/Loss Report
  4. Select  Start next to Dividends on 1099-DIV (even though there's no Form 1099-DIV)
  5. On the  Did you receive any dividend income? screen, answer Yes
  6. On the  Let's import your tax info screen, select Enter a different way
  7. On the  OK, let's start with one investment type screen, select Dividends, then select Continue
  8. On the  How would you like to upload your 1099-DIV? screen, select Type it in myself
  9. On the  Let's get the info from your 1099-DIV screen, enter all information that you have, then select Continue
