Yes, here is the procedure for entering unemployment compensation. 

1. Open or continue your tax return in turbo Tax

2. Search for 1099-G and select the Jump to link at the top of the search results.
3. On the Did you receive unemployment or paid family leave benefits in 2020? screen, answer Yes.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your 1099-G information.

I know where to enter the 1099G. It is the first $10,200 not taxable because of the Covid relief  bill President Biden just signed I can’t enter.   I read from IRS to enter the 1099G amount and on line 8 of schedule one  enter in parentheses 10,200. (10,200) but it won’t let me enter anything.

None of the changes that President Biden signed has not been updated into Turbo Tax. I would suggest that if you are in need of a refund, to submit your return now and then amend your return when the changes have been implemented.  As of now, there is no ETA regarding when the update will be complete but check back periodically for updates.

The IRS website says not to do send in an amendment as your tax expert is saying.

The IRS is probably saying not to amend right now until they have figured out how it's going to work.
