Didnt receive recovery rebate 2020 tax form?

I'm confused as to why I didn't receive my first two stimulus payments? I see that I entered 1800 in my taxes on line 30 for my recovery rebate credit and only received my tax refund back in mid-March. It is now end of April and I have no clue what to do.

Can you clarify something:  Was the amount of the refund you received the same as the amount on line 34 of your Form 1040, or was it that amount less $1,800?

Yes the amount on line 34 is less than 1800

If you received a lower tax refund than stated on line 34 of Form 1040, then the IRS will send you an explanation statement why they changed your refund. 

Please be aware the amount shown on line 34 includes your Recovery Rebate Credit.

If you received Notice 1444 in the mail but have not received your payment as mentioned in the notice, then you need to request a trace to be able to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return.
