Deductions

I live in a house sharing rent, I paid over $3000.00 for the year in 2019 as my share of the rent.  Am I eligible to take the renters tax deduction on my state tax return?

Deductions

Rent is not a federal deduction, but it depends on what state. Can you update with additional information?
