Child did not have a valid SSN for CTC on 2023, but will have it before April 15/2024. If I file taxes after receiving the new SS card will I be able to claim CTC?

Yes, if you have a valid SSN for your child on or before the due date of your return (including extensions), you can claim the CTC for your child.

For the EIC and the CTC on my 2024 taxes, it only lists my 4 yr old and 1 of my twins as qualifying. Why wouldn’t I get credit for the other twin as well?
