Can a person deduct mortgage interest if pays the mortgage but not on the 1099?

I live in Michigan and it is my primary residence. My daughter is on my loan when I bought (due to my credit I was unable to et a loan) can I deduct my property taxes and mortgage interest even though the 1099 for mortgage interest is in my daughters name?  I (not my daughter) pay both the property taxes and mortgage interest.

Yes, you can.  Since you are the homeowner, the mortgage debt is secured by your primary residence, and you paid both, if you itemize you may deduct both the property taxes (subject to IRS limits) and the mortgage interest.
