Buyer paid closing costs

We sold a second home in 2020. As part of the closing the Buyer (yes not the Seller) agree to pay part of the Seller's closing cost.

1) Is the Buyer payment towards the Seller's closing cost part of the overall home purchase price? For example, Purchase Price = Selling Price + Buyer Paid Towards Seller Closing Costs

2) As the Seller am I able to claim all closing costs on my taxes regardless of who paid for them?

Buyer paid closing costs

1) Is the Buyer payment towards the Seller's closing cost part of the overall home purchase price?  As the buyer ... all closing costs paid by the buyer are added to the purchase price ... they become part of the basis of the home.

2) As the Seller am I able to claim all closing costs on my taxes regardless of who paid for them?  No ... only those you paid are yours to deduct.
