2021 state taxes paid in 2022 and paid with extension

Does this mean the money I sent in with my  2021state tax return filed in 2022?

And the extension...I sent a check with the extension (Fed and state) and another check with the final Fed return.  When I see "money paid with extension in 2022" do I put those amounts in?  The first one? the additional one? or added together?

"Does this mean the money I sent in with my  2021state tax return filed in 2022?"

Yes, that could be added to state tax paid if you are Itemizing Deductions and filing Schedule A. If you use the Standard Deduction, it will not matter.

If you already filed your "final Fed return" why would you now be entering those numbers? Where are you entering the numbers? Are you now doing your state return only? Are you now AMENDING your returns?

No, extension was last year, preparing this year now.  Looking at it again, it's asking how much of my 2022 taxes did I pay with the extension.  I know that's none...not 2022 taxes.

Re: state taxes, it looks like Turbo Tax transferred it in.
