What is your question? If you got a 1099R for it you have to report it as income.
How do you get a 1099r for something you paid out of pocket. What came form my account was deducted from my gross, I paid out of pocket by check each month. That''s what I want credit for.
Sorry, your ex should be getting their own 1099R from the plan for their part. You have to report the full amount of your 1099R. You don't get credit for what you pay out. Unless it is alimony. But a QDRO should break up your pension or 401K or IRA into 2 separate accounts and you each get your own 1099R.
