If you first enter the US in 2012, you are considered as a nonresident for five years ( 2012-2016). Starting from January 1, 2017, if you stay more than 183 days within the US, you are a resident for tax purposes. If that applies, you will file your 2017 taxes as a resident, not an F-1 foreigner. As far as 2014, you are a nonresident and is required to file a Form 1040-NR reporting US source income only. You will file as a nonresident (F-1 foreigner). As TurboTax does not support nonresident filing, you would need to contact www.sprintax.com.
