The $70,000 is a gift to you and not taxable or reportable on your tax return.

No other reporting is required since the amount is less than $100,000. See https://www.irs.gov/businesses/gifts-from-foreign-person

The $70,000 is a gift to you and not taxable or reportable on your tax return.

But I m not a us citizen/resident - I m a green card holder - which if I read it right on your link , I need to claim the money?

You do not claim it on your income tax forms. It's not "income".
There may be other money transfer  reporting requirements that this forum may not be the best place for any answer.
