They should apply for an EMPLOYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER. The link has a phone number you can call to get one immediately or what to do if you have to wait for the number to be assigned.

The Employer Identification Number is bring used now for foreign entities even if they do not have employees or do withholding.

We have a LLC in US and one of the member is not a US Citizen but has a green card. Do we have to file form 8804,8805 and 8813? Are you considered a foreign partner even if you have a green card?
