On form 2555-T I receive an error when I attempted to report "0" travel days in US on business. Leaving the cell blank still produces an error.

Leaving the field blank should work.  Did you receive an error when you tried to e-file?

As I mentioned in my initial post, leaving the file blank does not work. I consistently receive an error when I try to e-file.

I'm having the same problem. It would not let me e-file either.

I cannot reproduce your error.  When I leave the field blank I do not receive any errors in the federal review.

Please try Leave the question blank that asks Number of Days on Business  and leave blank the question regarding Income Earned in the US.  If that does not work, leave out the vacation days to the US if you are sure that you have no more than 35 US days in a 12 month period (Just make sure you qualify for the PPT). Any trips to the US that did include US business days, must be included in Form 2555.
