If I received nonemployee compensation for an internship, how do I get it so I don't have to fill out all the forms for self-employed?

It is still asking me to fill out a schedule C form with my business name, address, ect.
Delete the entry and re-enter the income following the steps outlined by @MarilynG1.
You are able to remove the form by:
If the incomplete self-employment activity still needs to be removed, follow these steps to remove the self-employment activity.
What if the compensation was reported on 1099-NEC? Going throug the 1099-NEC entry it seems the only thing that applies is "None of these apply" and it assumes it is a business and Schedule C etc.
In this case it was a summer internship stipend for a student.
To enter a Form 1099-NEC that is not for self-employment:
Open your return and go to Federal >> Wages & Income >> Other Common Income >> Income from Form 1099-NEC. Click Start/Update.
Or enter 1099-nec in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-nec.
These entries will report the income on Schedule 1 Line 8z Other Income. The total from Schedule 1 Line 10 flows to Form 1040 Line 8 as ordinary income.
