We had a unique situation where our child had no SS# for nearly the first 2 years of his life.  Long story, but basically just bureaucratic red tape.  He was born in 2019 and finally received one in mid 2021.  We did not receive any stimulus for him because we could not claim him on our taxes until we had a SS# for him.   I recently amended our taxes for 2019 and 2020. After I amended 2019 we received an additional $2000 back, and for 2020 an additional $3100.  Is that extra $1100 for 2020 the stimulus he would have received if we were able to claim him originally?  If so, when we file 2021 taxes will we receive the other $1400 sent out in the spring of 2021 for all individuals (we did not receive that money for him either)?  If the extra $1100 is NOT the stimulus from 2020, and idea if we can still claim that money that was not received for him?

Yes, the extra $1,100 was $500 for the first stimulus and $600 for the second. You should receive the $1,400 when you file for 2021 next year.
