How can I get a tax refund for legal fees that related to keeping my job?

No, for tax years 2018 to 2025, this deduction has been eliminated for most taxpayers.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) that was signed into law in December of 2017 eliminated all "Miscellaneous Itemized Deductions" formerly allowable on your Schedule A.

One exception to this is for legal fees you paid to defend yourself against criminal charges arising out of your trade or business when you are self-employed

Another exception is legal fees incurred for unlawful discrimination claims, however, the expenses cannot exceed the income you are reporting on your return.

How can I get a tax refund for legal fees that related to keeping my job?

It seems Special Circumstances applies to my situation.  So how do I  get  TurboTax  to enter it so that I can get the deduction?    (Legal fee deduction)

thank you
