How does the Nebraska Property Tax Credit apply when taxpayers are filing MFS for tNebraska returns 2024 tax year?

Per the state of Nebraska, the individual that paid the property tax to the county treasurer from a separate bank account may properly claim the credit. If payment was made from a joint bank or escrow account, then the credit may be split between the individuals.
