My husband is a musician and received from ASCAP an International Distribution Summary showing taxes withheld for music used in foreign countries. How do we record this?

You can claim a foreign tax credit or deduction for taxes paid or accrued to other countries. The credit is generally better than the deduction but you can try it both ways and see which works better for you.

• Type foreign tax credit in Search in the upper right
• Select Jump to foreign tax credit
