I’ve been trying to get to 1040SR for my child, but can’t seem to find it or find a way to get to it so I can fill out the 1040SR line 30. I find where it asks if I received all my stimulus checks but not for my child.
help please

If you are qualified based on the requirements and your 2020 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI), and did not get the stimulus payments for your son, then you must ensure you are entering the amount of stimulus payments you did receive to ensure that the credit calculates correctly on your 1040. The 1040-SR form is a tax return for seniors.
Please follow the steps below:
Your Recovery Rebate Credit will be the difference between what you were qualified for on your 2020 tax return less the amount of your first and second stimulus payments you have already received.
If the Recovery Rebate Credit is not populating, then please review the requirements below to ensure you and your son qualify to receive the Recovery Rebate Credit.
To qualify, you must:
In addition, per the IRS, to be a qualifying child of an individual for purposes of the payment, generally the individual must live with the child for more than half of the tax year, the child must not provide over half of his or her own support for the calendar year, and the child must not file a joint return for the tax year. The child also must be the individual’s child, stepchild, eligible foster child, sibling, grandchild, niece, or nephew. In addition, to be claimed as a qualifying child, the child must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or other qualifying resident alien. The child must be under the age of 17 at the end of the year for the tax return on which the IRS bases the payment. Also, a qualifying child must have an SSN valid for employment or an adoption taxpayer identification number (ATIN). A child who has an ITIN is not a qualifying child for this payment.

When it shows what I should have received for my stimulus check it only shows my stimulus payments. It doesn’t show the extra 1100 for my son. I do qualify based on my income etc.
I also want to point out it’s now only showing a added 500 for my first round of stimulus payment but not the 600 for the second stiumuls payment I should have received for my son. All the information is correct for my dependent and I made sure to correctly check off each question it asks about who he lived with and how long he lived in my house
how much did you enter that you ACTUALLY received for each of the 1st two stimulus payments? ONLY enter the ACTUAL.
on your tax return where you son is listed, over to the right, there are two little boxes. is the box under 'CTC' checked?
how old is your son as of 12/31/20?
I received all my stiumuls payments. Can’t remember how much in total I know I received all of mine. As of 12/31/2020 my son was 3-4 months old. I’m checking to see if that box is checked, I’m on mobile/iOS app. Would it still be the same place on there?
All I can say is the check box is on Form 1040 WAY OVER to the right of his name.
also, what is more important than remembering what your received (and I appreciate you are not in from of your compute currently) is that you ENTERED exactly what was received.
Even though your child was born in 2020 and one would presume that Line 30 should have $1100 listed, I can think of scenarios where that would not be tru
1) your income is too high to provide you with additional stimulus
2) that box is not checked. I've seen other posts where that is true. Be sure you answered the question about how long you child lived with you in 2020 as "ALL YEAR" as there is a note on the screen indicating to answer that way for 2020 new borns; if you answered 3 months - that is the problem. Otherwise, delete the child from your return and re-enter. You need to see that checkmark under 'CTC' for Line 30 to work correctly
let us know what happens.
