Mortgage Interest Deduction

The Mortgage Interest I enter from Form 1098 is not being transferred to Schedule A.  How do I fix this?

Double-check in the mortgage interest section of your return that you did indicate that the interest is 'secured by a property' that you own.  If this is answered 'no' instead of 'yes', then the mortgage interest is not deducted.

Thanks for the reply, but the "secured by a property" is already answered Yes.

Can you clarify if you are itemizing or taking standard deduction, which may make a difference?

Mortgage Interest Deduction

My Mortgage Interest ($12k) is not being included on Schedule A.  As a result , I'm only getting the Standard Deduction.  If the additional 12k of Mortgage Interest were available, I would benefit from an Itemized Deduction.  Per IRS rules, my Mortgage Interest is fully deductable.  However Turbotax is erroneously limiting the deduction.  My loan amount $476k.  Loan acquired Sept 2021.  This is my primary residence and the loan is secured.
