Situation; single and only paying HCA coverage for myself.
My 1095-A from healthcare.gov shows all "$0's" in part III, Section B, which would indicate the Second Lowest Cost Sliver Plan (SLCSP) Premium available. My MAGI, for ACA purposes, qualifies me for a substantial Premium Tax Credit, which I elected not to take when I signed up due uncertainty of income. This info auto feeds into Form 8962, lines 10 and 11, and program defaults to zero PTC.
I talked to the folks at ACA yesterday and they instructed showed me how to use their "tax tool" to find SLCSP and shows to fill in the monthly premium and SLCSP information in lines 12 - 23 of Form 8962. Turbo Tax does not allow me to modify Form 8962. On Line 10, I need to uncheck the "yes" box and check then "no" box so I can then enter the amounts in lines 12-23, thereby allowing me to compute the PTC.
Thanks,
Bud

Go back to the 1095-A input screen to enter column B amounts.
Thanks for the quick reply, I am able to do it this way, however my "concern" is that information on my "electronic" Form 1095-A will not match the one The Marketplace has provided the IRS and may cause some grief. Thoughts?
