Mileage for work
My place of employment closed my office and it forced a much longer commute to a new office location. I didn't know if there was an exception that would allow me to expense mileage or tolls due to the closure?

Mileage for work
No. The cost of commuting to and from work is a personal commuting expense and it is not deductible, no matter what the distance is or the reason for it.
