Medical Insurnace Premiums and the Homestead Property Credit in Michigan. Can I deduct the premiums that came out of my pay and went towards my health insurance?

The company let's me know how much they paid, but I had so much deducted from each of my paychecks to go towards my health insurance.  Does that apply to the above.

Some qualified paid health insurance premiums may be deducted from income when calculating the homestead property tax and other credits allowed on the Michigan income tax return.
