Major bug with mortgage interest deduction!

FYI there's still a major bug where your mortgage interest will not be counted toward your deduction, as it doesn't get included on the Schedule A. If your deductions exceed the standard deduction, you will wind up overpaying your taxes, but you won't even know.

I found a post that this was recognized as a bug as far back in March, but it still exists in my updated version of TT Deluxe. Somewhat terrifying for something so basic to still be a bug this close to filing date.

The workaround is covered here, which is to delete your 1098 and re-enter it via the Home Mortgage Interest interview in the Deductions and Credits section:
