Can I put the exact amount for car registration fees? It did not give me an option to put in the exact amount.

The IRS likes round numbers, i.e. just dollars, not cents.  Just round up or down to the nearest whole number.

You should be able to enter any number, though.  Go To:

Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits > Cars and Other Things You Own

Add/Edit or Revisit Car Registration Fees (see screenshot)

In some cases, you are better off deleting a whole form with the "trash can" icon and re-entering manually.

No this did not help me at all.  I went back and looked.  It did not give me a box or option to put in exact amount.  I only had 3 options.  $0, $1 to$500, or Over $500 for Car registration Fees.
