What means round trip average daily commute

Your round trip average daily commute is the distance you travel from your home to your office and back.  

For example: let's say that your house is 10 miles from your office (or other place of work).  Your round trip average daily commute would be 10 + 10 = 20 miles.

If I work from a home office does that mean its 0? Not sure why its forcing me to fill in this information. I don't have a commute to work

@laura Correct.  If you worked from home, then your commute is zero.  However you should leave this as blank instead of entering zero.

My daily commute to my main office is 1 mile (one way) but I travel to multiple different sites daily. Do I just enter the 2 miles that it takes to go from home to main office and back or do I need to do an average of miles driven daily to all sites.

My question was really about transit fare to and from work and to and from Therapy and Psychiatric appointments. This includes cabfare on occasion. Are these items deductible?
