Besides my regular job, I'm a musician. I play drums for a local band. I'm not sure how to add all the things I do for it like travel and expenses

It depends on how your income from the band is reported.  If you receive a W-2 for this income, you will not be able to deduct any expenses on your return.  If you are a self-employed musician, your income and expenses will be reported on Schedule C of your return. To report both business income and expenses, you will need to upgrade to TurboTax Self-Employed Edition.

The money we do make just goes back into he band. I don't make any income on it. But I do spend in equipment and travel expenses.

Unfortunately, in this case, these expenses will not be deductible on your return.  If your band operated as a business  partnership and reported the income as such, then it would be possible for the band members to take some deductions.
