If you donate similar items in separate donations, you have to group the similar items together. Similar items of property are items of the same general category or type, such as coin collections, paintings, books, clothing, jewelry, non-publicly traded stock, land, or buildings.
Your similar items will show as one donation in Section A, if less than $5000, and in Section B, if more then $5000.
