If your employer includes your mileage reimbursement as taxable income on W-2, you can claim all of your mileage between patient homes.
If not, and your employer reimburses your mileage at ay least 54 cents per mile, you cannot deduct mileage.
If you are reimbursed at less than 54 cents per mile, you can deduct the difference.
Unless you have enough itemized deductions (ie. Medical mortgage interest, property taxes, charitable giving, ect) to exceed your Standard Deduction, you will not be able to benefit from this expense.
