Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

If you filled out your property tax info but it was too soon to e-file them, does turbo tax automatically submit your property tax or do you have to refill out the forms?

Turbo tax said something about it being too soon and “you” could efile property tax after March 11th, 15th, or 17th. One of those dates I believe.

I'm assuming you live in Minnesota. If you completed all of the detail for your Minnesota tax return, a form M1PR was prepared. To see if you qualify to e-file this form, or print and mail it instead:

  1. Sign into TurboTax, open your return, and go to your Minnesota state taxes.
  2. Continue until you get to the Other Forms You May Need screen, and select Property Tax Refund (Form M1PR), then Continue.
  3. Review your answers for M1PR and follow the instructions to e-file (if you qualified).

If you need to mail your M1PR:

  1. Continue until you get to the Filing instructions screen, and select Print Form M1PR
  2. Mail the printout by August 15 to:

Minnesota Property Tax Refund
