If I donate my grocery credit this year can I claim it as a donation for next year?

If you donate your grocery credit to a recognized charity group such as Salvation Army or Red Cross, you should be able to list it as a contribution for 2019. You will need an organization address to complete the deduction record.

My fed deduc charity is 500. But it won't let me move on with my az return due to it being over 300. Its not a cash donation. Why is my az return not recognizing this?
