If I'm quite sure my medical expenses will not exceed the percentage threshold, do I still need to enter the expenses or can I just leave that item blank?

If I'm quite sure my medical expenses will not exceed the percentage threshold, do I still need to enter the expenses or can I just leave that item blank?

If you are certain that your medical expenses are below the threshold of 10% (or 7.5% if you are 65 or older) of your adjusted gross income, there is no need to enter them as there is no allowable deduction.

If you are certain that your medical expenses are below the threshold of 10% (or 7.5% if you are 65 or older) of your adjusted gross income, there is no need to enter them as there is no allowable deduction.
