I want DIY not assisted. HOw do I make that choice.

Just do not select the Live assist option when offered.

If it still steers you to Assisted, clear your cache & cookies. Follow this link for more about that.

Turbotax is automatically giving me the Deluxe version (129.00).  I want the 79.00 version without tax professionals filing my stuff.  It is not giving the option to choose this.  Please help

It must have given you LIVE Deluxe.   Are you already in that edition?   If so, see this:
