You cannot get the child tax credit if you have no earned income. That was a special thing for 2020 and 2021. Now, you need at least $2,500 in earned income to get the credit.
Sorry--- you cannot get the refundable additional child tax credit if you had no income from working. There was only one tax year---2021-- when you could get that credit even if you did not work. The tax laws changed for 2022 and 2023.
